2009 Buyer Information:

Thank You Greene County Youth Activity Fund and Sheriff Gene Fischer for purchasing both Ethan's and Allison's market chickens.  Also, thanks goes out to Dick Baker of R&D Signs and neighbors Dave and Judy Anderson for supporting both kids in thier projects for 2009.  

Ethan's 2009 Accomplishments

In 2009, Ethan won 1st Place and 2nd Place in Chicken Pullets with his Brown and White Leghorns.  Ethan took 5th place in the Egg Class.  Ethan participated with other Country Rebels club members in the Egg Loft competition.  They won this competition with a time of 32 seconds.  Ethan's Rocket project took second place in the intermediate class.  Ethan's goat took 7th place in his class.  Ethan's meat chickens took 2nd place in his class for market chickens.  Ethan placed 4th on the intermetidate Skill-a-thon.

Allison's 2009 Accomplishments

Allison was selected Poultry Princess for 2009.  Allison won 1st place  with her Scrap Book project and was selected as a State Fair Delegate.  Allison placed 5th with her Black Leghorns in the Production class.  She took 1st and 4th place in the egg class. Allison also participated with other Country Rebels Club members in the Egg Loft Competition. They won this competition with a time of 32 seconds.  Allison picked up a win in Junior Chicken Showmanship.  This is the second year she has placed first in this event.  Allison's goat took 7th place in her class.  Allison's meat chickens took 3rd place in her class for market chickens.  Allison placed 3rd on the Skill-a-thon.

Ethan participlated in chickens and rocketry this year.  He took pullets, fancy and market chickens.  His fancy black old english  game birds took first place.  His rocket project took first place.  He placed second on the Skill-a-thon test in his class.  Ethan submitted two dozen eggs in the egg class and took second and fourth place.

Allison only took chickens for her first year at the fair. Her pullets placed fourth.  She participated in the Chicken showmanship and won first place.  She placed second on the Skill-a-thon test in her class. Her market chickens placed fourth in her class.  Allison submitted two dozen eggs in the egg class and took first and third place.
